In 2023, I joined Barclays as Head of Design for BARX FX, leading a greenfield redesign of a widely used internal and external trading platform. The programme modernised the product using contemporary web technologies, introduced AI-driven capabilities, and delivered the bank’s first mobile app experience for macro execution.

I designed and oversaw multiple applications from inception, spanning cash trading, orders, options, RFQ workflows, monitoring, and administration. This work culminated in a scalable end-to-end design system, including design tokens, a custom Storybook component library, and developer enablement tooling such as IDE plugins, helping improve UI consistency and accelerate delivery.

Following the success of BARX FX, I now work across all asset classes to extend the design system, improve the developer experience, and modernise the wider Barclays Markets platform ecosystem.
